In a joint venture with Turmix, the renowned Swiss Manufacturer, the Nespresso system was launched in Switzerland and Italy simultaneously. The Coffee capsule production is wholly done at Nestle Factory in Switzerland. In Nespresso system, a technically perfected espresso machine uses these unique coffee capsules.
Nespresso D 150 Automatic coffee machine can be used for making a variety of drinks like espresso, cappuccino and latte with ease, as this machine is uncomplicated unlike the conventional coffee machines. Ready made coffee capsules are used to make various types of coffee preparations in this machine instead of coffee beans. The advantage of this system is undoubtedly its making coffee, using capsules by entirely eliminating the complicated and tedious process of grinding coffee beans to correct fineness, using expensive grinders. This machine tends to measure coffee powder accurately, mixing exact amount of water and the number of trials that may require to prepare a coffee of ones own taste.
Coffee Capsule
Hermetically sealed aluminium coffee capsules protects freshly ground coffee from light, air, moisture etc, and retains the aroma of the coffee. Capsules are filled with the exact measure of coffee powder to prepare a single cup of coffee. This method helps to maintain consistant taste and prevents wastage. 14 varieties of premium coffee of various tastes are available in the market.
Physical Aspects
This model, made for the Nespro system, is having a metal housing. It is available in chrome and black with acrylic butyl styrene finish. Its dimensions are 20cm (B) X 28.4cm (H) X 28.4cm (D) and it weighs 4.6 Kg.
It is provided with a chrome plated capsule holder and built in filter. The water reservoir of this model is removable and made of plastic. It is provided with a steam and hot water adjustable nozzle too.

Other Features
This model is simple, automatic and compact. All functions are displayed on the front channel. Central control panel with 6 push buttons and a LED light is provided. The quantity and consistency of milk can be adjusted according to our needs. This model is equipped with automatic priming device and a cup pre-warming plate with Teflon color coating for maintaining the optimal cup temperature. A Chrome plated capsule holder with a built in filter and 2 thermo blocks, one for milk and one for coffee, are also provided in this machine to regulate the temperature of water and milk within a range of 86 to 91 degree centigrade. This guarantees espresso taste as well as formation of cream. Thermo block is a system controlled by thermostat.
Nespresso D 150 Cappuccino coffee machine is designed to use capsules filled with the required amount of coffee to make one cup of espresso. Two capsules also can be used for making larger cappuccino or latte. Cleaning of this machine is easy with the tools provided. Other features of this model are; a removable milk container, cup storage space, sliding dip tray, rinsing function for cleaning, fully removable grids and containers. A water level indicator, programmable electronic volume control and capsule containers also accompany this machine. The water reservoir of the machine is of the removable type and made of plastic. The water reservoir is fitted with a steam and hot water adjustable nozzle for making cappuccino, caffe latte and other special drinks. A built in frothing attachment to the nozzle for making cappuccino and latte foam, is also provided here. The capacity of the water tank is 1.2 litres. This machine is fitted with a high pressure pump of 19 bars pressure. Along with this machine, a number of porcelain cups of adequate thickness to maintain ideal temperature of coffee are supplied too. The concave shape of these cups preserves smoothness of the cream
