The copper boiler is covered by a shell made of insulating plastic to prevent hot surfaces. The boiler is connected with a safety valve that comes attached with an anti-flood system that drains out excess water from the boiler. An external pump is attached to the system for obtaining a pump pressure of 9-bar. A dual gauge manometer measures the boiler pressure and pump pressure. The use of an external pump reduces the internal noise thus making this coffeemaker a quiet machine.
